This product, when used properly, is magnificent.

This is already the third one I've bought after giving one away and losing a transmitter.

Positive:
- inexpensive
- The charge lasts a long time
- works in principle
- Receiver waterproof
- Collar long enough for large dogs, adjustable

Negative:
- short range
- Volume not adjustable, relatively quiet
- The vibration could be stronger
- Extensions are quickly lost
- The electrical system does not work reliably (due to dense undercoat?).

Summary: inexpensive device, but of course not comparable to professional devices, such as those used in, for example, Use hunters. The sounds of the beep and vibration are enough to stop my dog as long as he is not actually in the race yet. This makes it consistently helpful in parenting.
